D. Rahn Hostetter has been practicing law for 36 years, beginning as a prosecutor in the federal court system on behalf of the United States of America, then in the state of Oregon as elected District Attorney of Wallowa County.  He has been in private practice for the past 25 years representing clients ranging from multi state corporations to next door neighbors.

His expertise is in real property transactions, boundary disputes and litigation, land use planning and development, aviation parts and manufacturing (Fed Aviation Administration) and complex business structures and litigation.

He has been married 39 years and has four children and 11 grandchildren.
